Karen Dahlem was an excellent advisor and guide through the complicated process of changing the name of our Association, which has nearly 2,000 members. She masterfully guided conversations with leadership and staff to identify the perspectives of involved parties and the pitfalls or unintended consequences of changing our name, without imposing her own thoughts or biases regarding the decision. She provided outstanding support with communication strategies and a survey of the full membership. Her detailed review of the survey results gave us confidence in our members’ support of the name change and we decided to move forward. Without Karen’s guidance, I do not believe we would have had such a seamless name change process. We highly recommend Karen Dahlem’s organizational change management skills.
Today’s business challenges require organizations to manage continuous change effectively. Mergers, acquisitions, and other organizational initiatives impact employees and have an adverse effect on organizations if not managed correctly. Change can leave people feeling resentful, unmotivated and confused at a time when productivity and commitment to the organization is critical. Let us help you turn change into an opportunity for growth and success.

Dahlem Consulting partners with all size organizations to help them understand and manage change. We have helped businesses all over the world manage complex issues. We work with senior managers and their teams to assess and address their most challenging problems. We create workshops that give your management team and employees the skills needed to manage change. We facilitate the discovery of solutions to each problem you face.
Karen is certified by the Life Mastery Institute. Her 12-week coaching program will help you identify and make the changes you desire in your life. She will help you develop a vision and a plan for your life that encompasses your career, your health, your relationships and time/money freedom.
What changes do you anticipate in your organization over the next three years?
Significant change comes to all organizations. You may choose the change, or it may be thrust upon you. Either way, it will require a focused effort to manage it successfully.
To help your organization prepare for change, we offer two interactive, transformational workshops based on the three-phase transition model developed by William Bridges:
I had the privilege of being in the same cohort as Karen, in pursuit of our Master’s degrees in Organization Development at American University. We have collaborated many times since then.
Karen is extremely insightful. She is able to see organizational issues that escape many others. She has a knack for framing these issues so that others can see them and work on them.
Karen has extraordinary relationship skills. Clients are comfortable sharing sensitive data with Karen because of the trust that she is able to quickly establish.
Karen would be an asset to any organization that is facing significant change initiatives.

Karen has a wealth of experience and training to offer any organization dealing with the complexities of change. She has been a tremendous asset in the re-launch of the family business center and I would recommend her to any business who needs a professional consultant to guide them through any organizational transition they may face.

Karen conducted the William Bridges Workshops “Individual Transition in Organizations” three times for the young men transitioning out of the seminary into ministry, and once for all the priests of the Archdiocese of Louisville. These workshops are extremely helpful because priests go through many personal and organizational transitions in their lifetimes – often without awareness, support or guidance. One bishop described leaving the seminary as, “Having all your IVs pulled out at once.” Once a priest, they move regularly from one setting to another – rural, urban, inner city, specialized ministry and finally into retirement. I highly recommend Karen because she knows her material and she adapts well to, and empathizes with, her audience.

The DreamBuilder Coaching Program is a powerful experience. It has helped me determine new goals and achieve new milestones for my business and my life. Thanks Karen, for your leadership and coaching. You are amazing!
